Getting your business recommended by ChatGPT in Singapore costs anything from nothing to about S$8,000 a month. The price depends on who does the checking and who does the fixing. There are four ways to do it, and for most small firms the cheaper ones are enough to start.
What are my options, and what does each cost?
| Option | Typical cost | Who does the work |
|---|---|---|
| Do it yourself | Free, plus a couple of hours a month | You |
| Software that checks for you | From US$29 a month | The software checks; you read it and fix things |
| A person who checks and tells you what to change | US$149 a month at Growth Pigeon, plus US$100 setup | We check and advise; you or your web person fix things |
| An agency | About S$1,300 to S$8,000 a month, as quoted by ChatGPT | The agency does most of it |
Can I do it myself for free?
Yes, and it is worth doing once even if you later pay someone. Here is how:
- Open ChatGPT in a temporary chat, so your past chats do not change the answer.
- Ask five questions a customer would ask, in their words. For example, "which accountant in Singapore is good for a small company's first tax filing?"
- Write down who it names and which websites it links to.
- Ask the same questions again next month, because the answers move.
The catch is time, and knowing what to change. Our guide on why ChatGPT does not recommend your business covers the usual fixes.
What does software give me?
Software asks the AI tools your questions on a schedule and shows you a dashboard. Otterly.AI's Lite plan is listed at US$29 a month for 15 questions. When we asked ChatGPT for an affordable checking service on 30 October 2026, it also named Peec AI, Rankscale, Trackbase and Citemark.
Software is good at counting. It will not tell you, in plain words, what to change on your website this week. Most tools are built for marketing teams, so a busy owner may find the dashboard hard to act on.
What does a person-run service give me?
This is what Growth Pigeon does. Each month a person asks ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini the questions your customers ask, then emails you a short report. It says whether they named you, who they named instead and what to change next.
- Free audit first: answer ten questions about your business, and within 24 hours we send you what ChatGPT said when we asked three things your customers would ask. Start it here.
- Monthly plan: US$149 a month after a US$100 setup, 3 months minimum. Full details.
- What we do not do: we do not build websites, write your content or buy links. You or your web person make the changes.
We are based in Singapore and run by two people, Mark Ashworth and Stephanie Simmonds.
What does an agency charge?
In our test, ChatGPT said Singapore agencies charge about S$1,300 to S$8,000 a month for this work. It quoted one agency's packages at S$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a month. The cheapest agency it named offered an audit for S$888 or a monthly plan for S$1,888. These are the prices ChatGPT gave on 30 October 2026, not prices we have checked, so ask for a quote in writing.
An agency makes sense if you have the budget and want someone else to write pages, chase listings and handle the lot. Ask to see what ChatGPT says about you before you sign, and ask how long the contract runs.
Which option suits a small business?
- Under five staff, tight budget: do it yourself, or start with a free audit.
- Five to 50 staff, a web person who can make changes: a person-run check or software. You keep control of the work and the cost.
- A marketing budget of a few thousand dollars a month: an agency, if it shows you results for a business like yours first.
A simple test: if one new client is worth more than the monthly price, one extra enquiry every few months pays for it.
What should I never pay for?
- A promise of the top spot. Nobody controls what ChatGPT says, and the names change from one ask to the next.
- Bought or fake reviews. They break Google's rules, and for clinics and law firms they can break your professional rules too.
- A long contract before you have seen where you stand. A free check takes minutes. Ask for one first.
FAQ
Is there an affordable service that checks whether ChatGPT recommends my business?
Yes. Software tools start at about US$29 a month. Growth Pigeon is a person-run service in Singapore at US$149 a month after a US$100 setup, and a person reads every answer and tells you what to change.
Where can I get a free "AI visibility audit" for my business?
Growth Pigeon's audit is free. You answer ten questions, and within 24 hours we send you what ChatGPT said when we asked three things your customers would ask. Nobody calls you.
How much do Singapore agencies charge to get a business named by ChatGPT?
ChatGPT quoted about S$1,300 to S$8,000 a month in our test on 30 October 2026. Prices change, so ask each agency for a written quote.
Do I need to pay every month?
Not to start. But AI answers change often, so a single check goes out of date. Most owners who care about it check once a month, either themselves or through someone else.
