Hi, we are the Growth Pigeon team.
We started Growth Pigeon together. We help small and professional services businesses get named when their customers ask AI who to use.
Who we are

Mark Ashworth
Mark has worked in marketing and product in Singapore since 2001. He was the sixth person to join Geniebook, a learning app for school kids, and ran its product as it grew into a company that raised more than $20 million.
Before that he was the first hire at Spiral, a UK classroom app that won awards and was bought by Discovery Education. He has built and sold startups in education and phone services. He also ran data analysis for TripAdvisor as it grew in Asia, and built most of the search tools the Singapore government uses to look up patents and trademarks. On the side, he builds and markets small online businesses and writes the code himself.
At Growth Pigeon he asks the AI tools your customers' questions, reads every answer and writes your report and plan.

Stephanie Simmonds
Stephanie has spent 15 years in sales, marketing and advertising. She has worked with startups, small businesses and global brands, most recently at LinkedIn, where she helped businesses reach the right customers.
At Growth Pigeon she runs sales and partnerships. Her job is to make sure getting found on ChatGPT makes sense to you and is worth the money, whatever the size of your business.
It started on Mark's own websites
Mark has run his own websites for years, and he keeps an eye on where the visitors come from. Over time he noticed that visits from Google and the other usual places were dropping month after month, while visits from ChatGPT went the other way. They were small at first, but they kept growing every month.
Soon he saw the same thing at work. New enquiries turned up with chatgpt.com recorded as the source. These people had not searched, clicked an ad or asked a friend. They had asked ChatGPT who to use, it gave them a name, and that business got the call.
So Mark asked the next question. If people now ask ChatGPT instead of Google, which businesses does it name, and why? He checked for small businesses he knew. Most were not named at all, and the owners had no idea.
This has happened twice before. First it was the Yellow Pages, then Google. Both times, the businesses that moved early won years of cheap customers, and everyone else paid more to catch up later. AI is the third time, and most owners have not noticed it yet.
Growth Pigeon is built around one question: when your customer asks ChatGPT who to use, is your name in the answer? Stephanie joined as co-founder to take that question to the owners who need to hear it.
What this means for you: if fewer people find you on Google than a year ago, this is likely part of the reason. The free audit shows you whether ChatGPT names you, in two minutes.
How we work
No jargon
You will not get a report full of technical terms you have to look up. If we send you something you need us to translate, we have done it wrong. Tell us and we will rewrite it.
Two minutes before any money
The free audit costs nothing and takes two minutes. If it says you are already in good shape, it will tell you so and we will leave you alone. That has happened and it will happen again.
A number you can track
ChatGPT can give a different list each time you ask it the same question. So we ask many times and tell you how often you were named, for example 6 times out of 10. You see where you really stand, and whether it is going up each month.
A plan your own people can follow
We do not write your content or build your website. You get a plan your writer, agency or web person can act on. Because we sell no content, we can tell you honestly whether the work you pay for is getting you recommended. Monitoring is the only monthly fee, and you can stop it any time.
Most small businesses do not have an AI problem. They have a "nobody can find out anything about us" problem, and AI is just the first thing to say it out loud.
Where to start
The free audit
Ten questions about your own business. You get a score out of 100 and the three things to fix first, straight away and by email. Within 24 hours, we ask ChatGPT about you and email you what it said.
The monthly plan
A full audit to start: twenty to thirty questions, three AI tools, each one asked several times, and a 90-day plan. Then a check and a short report every month. Three months minimum.
The law firm guide
What clients type, where the answers come from, and the ten fixes for a firm. The first of a page per trade.
What AI actually says
Our own tests, with the date, the exact questions, and how many times we asked each one. Published whether the result flatters us or not.
