Be there when people ask ChatGPT what to buy.
ChatGPT now shows ads under its answers. Very few businesses have tried them yet, and most agencies are still working them out. Mark already runs ChatGPT ads for a B2B software company and tracks every click through to a lead. We set yours up the same way, then run them for you.
- Run by someone already running ChatGPT ads
- Tracking that shows which clicks become leads
- Carry on only if the test works
It is early, and early is cheaper.
Anyone in the US can now buy them
OpenAI opened its self-serve Ads Manager in May 2026. Before that, only a few big brands could buy ChatGPT ads.
You can pay per click
You can now pay only when someone clicks, as well as per thousand views. That makes a small test much safer.
You can see what works
OpenAI added a tracking pixel and a Conversions API, so you can see which clicks turned into sign-ups or sales.
Few of your rivals are there yet
Most businesses are still watching. The ones who learn it now will know what works before everyone else turns up.

Run a 30-day test, then carry on only if it works.
30-day test
- Your ChatGPT ads account and billing set up in your name
- Tracking added to your site, so each lead is tied to the ad that brought it
- Your first campaigns built around the questions your buyers ask
- Ad copy, bids and a starting budget
- 30 days of running and adjusting the ads
- A readout at the end: spend, cost per lead, which leads were any good, and whether to carry on
Monthly
- Your ads checked and changed every week
- New ads tested against the old ones
- A short report each month: what you spent, clicks, leads and cost per lead
- A straight answer on whether it is worth carrying on
- Cancel any time
Mark sets up and runs every account himself.
Mark Ashworth leads product marketing for a B2B software company, where he runs its ChatGPT ads and checks every lead they bring in against the CRM. He has worked in product and marketing for over 20 years.
- Ran product at Geniebook as it grew into a company that raised more than $20 million.
- Ran data analysis for TripAdvisor as it grew in Asia.
- Writes the code and runs the marketing for his own small online businesses.
The short answers.
What are ChatGPT ads?
ChatGPT now shows a small, labelled ad under some of its answers. If someone asks for help with a problem your business solves, your ad can sit right under the answer. You pay when people click, or per thousand views.
Do you guarantee results?
No. ChatGPT ads are new, and nobody can promise what they will do for your business. What we can promise is clean tracking, so you see exactly what you spent and what came back, and an honest view each month on whether to keep going.
How much should I spend on the ads?
Start with a test budget you are happy to lose while we learn. We suggest a number on the first call, based on your price, your margin and how many leads you need.
What happens after the 30-day test?
You get a readout: what you spent, what it cost per click and per lead, and which leads were any good. If it worked, you can carry on with the monthly plan. If it did not, you stop, with the account and tracking still yours.
Who pays OpenAI for the ads?
You do, on your own card in your own account. We never hold your ad money. Our fee is separate.
How long does it take to start?
About five working days from when you give us access to your ads account and your website.
Can I cancel the monthly plan?
Yes, any time. The ads, the account and the tracking stay yours.
Can I use ChatGPT ads outside the US?
OpenAI opened its self-serve Ads Manager to US advertisers first. If you sell somewhere else, ask us before you buy and we will check what is open to you.
Get in before your rivals do.
The 30-day test is US$499. If it works, the monthly plan is US$750 and you can stop any time.
